Jodi ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
Photos You Upload
When you use Jodi to create Bollywood scene images, your photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for processing. Photos are used only to generate your image and are not stored permanently on our servers.
Face Data
What we collect: When you upload a photo, the image containing your face is transmitted to Google's Gemini AI service. We do not extract, analyze, or store facial geometry, facial feature data, or biometric identifiers separately from the photo itself.
How we use it: Your photo (including any faces in it) is used solely to generate an AI image placing you in a movie scene. The AI processes the visual likeness to create the output image.
Third-party sharing: Your photo is sent to Google's Gemini AI service for processing. Google processes the image according to their privacy policy. We do not share your photos or face data with any other third parties.
Storage and retention: Photos are transmitted directly to the AI service for real-time processing. We do not store your uploaded photos on our servers. The generated output image is returned to your device and is not retained by us. Google's retention of processed data is governed by their policies.
Your control: Photos are only processed when you explicitly choose to generate an image. You can use the app without uploading photos (browsing movie scenes). Generated images are saved only on your device unless you choose to share them.
Account Information
If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and name to create your account. This allows you to:
- Save your credits across devices
- Restore purchases
Purchase Information
When you buy credits, Apple processes the payment. We receive a transaction record (not your payment details) to credit your account.
Device Information
For users who don't sign in, we use an anonymous device identifier to track free credits.

Data Retention
- Photos: Processed in real-time, not stored permanently

Jodi is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
